Intel isn’t ready to announce Centerton, yet

Luckily, we are ready to announce Centerton

Intel Atom LogoIntel isn’t ready to announce the name Centerton yet, but SemiAccurate is. So with that, we can say that the next 32nm Atom for non-mobile devices is called, yes, Centerton.

Not much more to say than that. If you need the desktop 32nm Atom, as opposed to the Medfield family of mobile SoCs, now you know what to ask for. If your local Intel representative looks surprised or pretends not to know, well, wait a week and ask again. Centerton should be ready to be announced in Q2, so you may have to repeat the above steps a few times. Not sure why you would want one, but we feel obligated to bring you the news anyway.S|A
