GeForce GTX 560 OEM (Based on GF110)

NVIDIA launched the GTX 560 Ti OEM, it's a GF110. Looks eerily similar to a Quadro 5000 with a new sticker. 352 CUDA cores, 320-bit memory bus and 1.25GB or 2.5GB of VRAM.

I wonder, was NVIDIA's forecasting tanked by design wins for the FirePro V5900 & 7900 so NV had to find an outlet for their cards somewhere, got a golden handshake from OEM's to put them in consumer desktops instead?

Also, kinda interesting that the GF114 scales up into the same performance as the GF110 scales down to, I wouldn't think that close a perf/w envelope would be a good idea.

Matches the Q5000 in some workloads, isn't faster than Cypress in others... quite adequately priced I'd say.

NVIDIA's lead on professional graphics has decreased this quarter, and then AMD is also aggresively pushing the new Northern Islands-based FirePro cards starting June.

And then the GeForce GTX 560 series is at least successful, so why not add another variant to the mix?

I would not at all mind an SLI setup of two GF110 560 OEM cards. Then again, I'm a weirdo who enjoyed the GTX 465 & HD 5830.
