Default 2013 core sizes: A7-A15-Jaguar-Atom-Haswell

The amazingly little A7 with FP, Neon and 16kB L1D and L1I caches
is 32 times smaller as a 22 nm Intel Haswell core. Yet it has 75% of
the IPC of an A9. Expect it to sell more as all other cores combined
in 2013 in the form of 28nm quad core high volume smart phone SOC's

Hans.

I guess you know that the Tegra 4 die shot nVidia showed is most probably a fake.

It's nice to see the actual core sizes..now could we get some kind of ratio between power consumption/Die size/compute power!

CPU compute power and GPU compute power.

Just to clarify things here, those are shots of a single application core?

Yes, w/o L2 cache.

The Tegra 4 ones may or may not be a real picture of a Cortex-A15 but I'm still holding out hope that they basic floorplan and sizing is at least correct, possibly with stuff copied over the cores to obscure implementation details. It's not like they don't have real die shots of the chip, I don't know why they'd even bother giving one at all if it's 100% made up (not like everyone else gives die shots)

Is it only my impression or Intel's effectiveness in their fab process is completely ruined by their increasingly poor designs/drive supoprt?
