Default Zen DT and mobile roadmaps; 4W to 95W

I think they forgot the "up to 4 Zen cores" when they said "4 zen cores"

At 4W min power. Uh. Well, if AMD can make it happen

My doubt about core count for Zen APU is cleared, I used to think there's only 2 cores. Now AMD could have both strong CPU and GPU at the same time.

Mmm, I like the look of Raven Ridge. 50% more graphics cores, and 100% more CPU threads than any existing APU should be pretty interesting. Depending on bandwidth obviously. Then again, providing ~50% more bandwidth than dual DDR3-2133 should be fairly trivial. Dual DDR4-3200 would suffice.

Be most interesting to see how it does in DX12/Vulkan.

Any source for that, or is "toilettech"?

RR should be a pretty decent APU.

Maybe up to 1.5 TFLOPS in mobile, maybe up to 2 TFLOPS in desktop. Both are perfect for pairing with a discrete GPU should that be your thing.

I don't see the need for a >12 GPU core (single-die) APU alongside this one. At some point you just need to accept the need for a discrete GPU in a system.

Roadmap looks good, but it's hilarious they left Piledriver out of the desktop roadmap for 2015 to 2017.

For HEDT, the consumers were supposed to get a SKU on FM2+/AM4.

First was Gecko which was a Family 15h Models 40h-4Fh for FM2+. With Basilisk being Family 15h Models 4xh-4Fh for AM4. With Basilisk we would have seen Hypertransport @ 32 GB/s per 16x PCIe phy or 40 GB/s per 20x HT-PCIe phy.
