ALTHOUGH ASUS ALREADY has an Atom Ion mini-ITX board on the market it looks like the company is getting ready for round two with its upcoming AT3IONT-I and AT3IONT-I Deluxe boards. We don’t have a lot of details on these boards, but from what we can tell from the single picture that has surfaced so far, it looks like Asus is getting ready to take on Zotac.

VESA HAS ANNOUNCED the latest iteration of the DisplayPort standard called 1.2 and the new version adds a couple of handy features and some that are more marketing spiel than actual features at the moment. THE RECENTLY LAUNCHED Intel H55 chipset has found a home in a really tiny motherboard from Zotac and it’s hard not to be impressed with all the features that this tiny board has to offer. Zotac got famous for making some nForce based mini-ITX boards, but the company has continued the trend with other chipsets and the H55-ITX WiFi is the latest addition to its range of tiny, yet feature packed boards.

ALIENWARE’S Optx AW2310 screen is the company’s first venture into the land of 3D video and the specifications aren’t too bad, for a 23-inch screen, that is. Although Acer beat Alienware to be the first company to announce a full HD 1080p 3D Vision ready display, it looks like Alienware might be the first one to ship units. Well, at least as long as you live in New Zealand or Australia that is, as it’s only listed on the local Alienware websites in those two countries.
