Chromebook is really a netbook

Samsung supplies Apple and Google

The Chromebook from Samsung looks very much like a netbook and is also using an Atom processor.

If you think that the Chromebook is something very special, as Google wants you to believe – then you have to think again.

iSuppli has performed a tear down of the Chromebook from Samsung (SEO:005930). The teardown reveals a dual core Atom processor combined with 2GB of DRAM and an SSD with a capacity of 16GB.

This very much looks like any other netbook except for the lack of a hard drive. The idea is that the Chromebook will only work when connected to the cloud.  All in all it is not as special as Google really wants you to believe.S|A
