One more tidbit about the AMD ARM core bubbles up

Updated: Not much more than a name, what’s in a name again?

AMD Opteron X logoOn Monday, AMD finally announced they have an ARM architectural license and are making their own v8A core. Details were between sparse and non-existent but SemiAccurate did manage to find out one nugget that AMDers will not speak out loud, only mumble repeatedly under their breath.
