One interesting bit AMD had on display was a Socket SP3 Naples chassis. The Speedway reference design that SemiAccurate saw was the first naked AMD in the wild, at least that we have laid eyes on.
Not much more to say than look at the socket below, it is huge, think closer to cell phone sized than old-school CPU dimensions. A four die MCM will do that but the results, especially the massive I/O each chip has should be worth it. Enjoy.S|A
