Where do Intel and TSMC go from here?

Wafers, nodes, and more

The question on everyone’s mind is what moves Intel will be making with TSMC. To answer that question we first have to look at what wafer purchases they are making and which nodes they may have chosen. So how many wafers is Intel buying from TSMC, and on what node? SemiAccurate has gotten some reliable figures on that topic it is a pretty big number.

Let us start this out by saying this is a bit more vague than our usual numbers to protect our sources and because some of the details we just can’t verify to our normal standards. This is the long way of saying to double check with your own sources before you make life-altering decisions based on what Intel is doing. That said we have good confidence in what we learned.
