    Still just a rumor, which Nokia's spokesFinn called "completely baseless".

    Meaning of course, that the deal is in the bag.

    This is a huge blow to Finland and the fine, sturdy, Finnish people.

    Could have waited a year and bought RIM for cheaper, which in case they would have an easy door into the enterprise market... But then again, time is of the essence.

    Of course, if this is all true...

    Why buy RIM?
    They have NOTHING that is worth anything.

    Nokia is a good buy. They have their own manufacturing plants and loads of wireless patents.

    The way things are going, in a year from now, you could have bought RIM for far less. That's because in a year, their market share will be so low, you'd almost be better off doing a startup with a clean slate.
