AMD Shows off Southern Islands and Trinity

    Here

Any guesses as to which card was shown? Mine is Lombok PRO.

I would aim higher. What were the the mobile equivalents of Cape Verde and Pitcairn again?

The card itself is an MCM, but that is about all AMD would say, no specs or release dates. Luckily, we know the dates already, and insiders tell us it is Tahiti silicon.
    I guess Wimbledon.

The mobile version of Tahiti aka Wimbledon.
Of course, if Tahiti has a mobile version, does Cayman have?

    Nope. Just a guess:

    Tahiti - Wimbledon
    Pitcairn - Heathrow
    Cape Verde - Chelsea
    Lombok - Thames

Is there any possibility that power gating to be implemented in GPU?
For example gating off most of the compute units when it is lightly loaded (i.e. watching video, playing flash games) to lower the idle power.

All of them, except Lombok- Thames (40 nm, maybe VLIW4), are 28 nm GCN.
