Well if it's Vulkan, or true DX12 Ryzen won't be losing. If the benchies are true 1800X with a good aftermarket heatsink will match SkylakeX.

No need to worry about reviewers using low quality coolers btw.

Well it seems I was wrong about them sending out water coolers to reviewers, but they seem to be well on top of it.

I will actually have 3 Noctua coolers to try out after contacting them last week about an AM4 bracket for my D14, so I'll have a D15, D14 and U12s to try out when they get here.

It will be tough for them at any price point above $129. Not just the top of the HEDT market.
To find the right answers you must ask the right questions.

I have already posted the source for the screenshots in my previous post where I did analysis of the results.
    Reddit thread:

Ryzen ES pictured while running ST test in R15(note the Turbo clock of ~3.7Ghz):

Basically it was taken from baidu forum before it was promptly deleted. Also allegedly posted by Alva guy(OCer champion who is in the middle of the photo where they are all startled looking at Cinebench run @ stock settings on unknown Ryzen chip).
ST result was leaked earlier and was 146 pts @ 3.7Ghz (ST Turbo)
MT result leaked later and was 1136pts @ 3.4Ghz (ACT-all core turbo).

Check my previous post for how it stacks up against other chips on the market.

    *snip*...
Thanks - did not see the ST in the link, that's why I had asked (may had just missed it) - much more excited once I see multiple leaks confirming these things don't look like they suck

The synthetic tests all seem rather good. Need some gaming benches now.

It s impossible that there s 3% difference in the ST score at same frequency, something is out in the reference you used..
