It could be very nicely seen in the SCO vs. IBM case: The SCO stock price reflected how things were going in court and how likely SCO was at getting what they demanded (if you did the math, you usually ended in single digit percentages).
That court case happened in reality.

Market manipulation at its most obvious. I thought people go to jail for this, no?

Yes, if they are working at/for some ordinary entity. Goldman Sachs however seems to be well above the law. Just look at their history. Too Big To Fail at it's best.

Also note how many politicians and people in charge of related functions are originating from GS and .. well conspiracy theorists have much fuel here, maybe even some reality to work with.

Can't prosecute someone for buying a few million shares at ~$10 something if that's what you said they were worth in the first place ? You're just following your own advice aren't you ?
To find the right answers you must ask the right questions.

And now lost everything that was gained yesterday, and now even lower than that.
The market is full of negative people with pessimistic visions...

At the present moment, AMD has all the potential to completely annihilate every possible competition from Intel.

Can't they be thrown away from the game to play with these particular shares?

As far as I understand yesterday's rally was about the fudzilla article confirming the GPU licensing deal with Intel. As yesterday at FAD nobody said anything about the deal (fudzilla's article said it would be announced at the next ER) many people have understood that the licensing has been implicitly denied.

This I can't understand. Is it double standard or what? Why is this potential licensing so important for the market, while everything that was presented yesterday as technologies and hugely superior than everything Intel has, has no value for this same market?
